Chiropractic:
Traditionally, chiropractic was based on the relationship
of the normal and abnormal alignment of the spine to health and disease. But modern chiropractic is concerned
with much more.We have learned
that spinal health in inextricably related to functions of the body’s muscles,
organ and acupuncture circuits, and also to nutrition, diet, exercise and
emotional states. Our chiropractic is a naturally-oriented, holistic system of
health care concerned both with wellness as well as the treatment of health
problems.
Applied
Kinesiology:
Your body’s nervous system is like an electrical system
with many different circuits. Each muscle is on a different circuit. Also, each circuit is related to a
different gland or organ, nutrient(s), one or more vertebrae, and various
“circuit breakers” relating to blood circulation, lymph drainage and the
acupuncture system.When there’s a
malfunction of any of these factors, it shows up as a change in the strength of
the related muscle. i.e. if the body contains a “short circuit”, it will show
up as weak when muscle tested. This is a means of identifying problems before
they develop full blown symptoms.
Muscle weaknesses are often found to be related to
nutritional imbalances, allergies, inefficient functioning of the digestive
system or glandular system, toxic accumulation of heavy metals in tissues, etc.
By correcting these imbalances through the variety of natural methods used in
our office, the recurrence of muscle weakness usually abates along with a
variety of different symptoms.
